New Concept Moulded Cakes
We are proud to be the forerunner in the latest environmental
and technological advances in fireworks, to this extent we are introducing a
range of products under the NC (New Concept) brand.
Traditionally cakes are made using a series of single cardboard tubes which are then glued, taped and maybe even held together with wire. It has been known where tubes are not securely held together for one tube to misfire and cause the whole thing to fall apart and fire effects at ground level. This latest development involves a mixture of shredded card and paper with a liquid to bind it together, being poured into a mould and left to set. When hardened the result is a solid single piece which does not require any further assembly other than a small amount of ejection powder and an effect cartridge placed into each of the openings. One of our selected factories have made significant investments in this new procedure which will allow us to produce cakes which are of a consistent high quality and are made using mainly re-cycled paper and board. After use the casing is biodegradable and will disintegrate if it gets wet.
For 2016 we have introduced 2 new cakes using this procedure, the RRP of these will be the same as if they were produced under the normal method.
For 2017 we have introduced a further 4 new cakes
